The Outcasts « Result #1 on Dec 22, 2008, 8:15pm »
Welcome to the newest Superhero RP site, create your own super hero and ship them off to high school. There are different classes for villains and Heros. We want new members and would like some help to get the site started.
Okay this is the current set-up for the site, you may use any canon character from any Vampire / Werewolf series, whether it’s Book or TV related. However, your character must stay with in the guide lines/laws for your series i.e., if humans can’t know about your vampires then humans will continue not to know, just like if your vampire can’t walk in the sunlight then they still cannot. Okay, this storyline takes place in the not so distant future, half of the human population has been killed by a virus that has been spread by genetically altered tomato’s, in that time traditional vampires have made themselves public knowledge to the humans, however, there are still a few vampire groups (twilight vamps) that have kept themselves out of the public lime light. These vampires are different and are genetically superior to the traditional vampires. These vampires (twilight) can walk in the sunlight without being harmed and no longer have fangs but they do have venom, also, traditional vampires are unaware of these vampires but that is not to say that they can‘t be. The Werewolf community has kept their existence quiet as well, but over the years the werewolves have learned to control there shifting, like shape shifters do. There are humans that hunt vampires and werewolves, however, they are uncommon and their character will not be abused (cannot have an army of Van Helsing’s rampaging about the countryside!)

Rules for Advertising « Result #3 on Aug 17, 2006, 7:53am »
We here at Middle Earth RPG encourage advertising of other sites...if we don't support each other, no one will. But any site that advertises must have a place on their site for us to do the same...as a guest, not a member. We welcome any one, guest or member, to place a post advertising their site. The reason we must be able to do the same as a guest is the simple fact that being multiple characters in mulitiple RPGs, I would not like to create new accounts just to have them sit there inactive so I can put up an advertisement as well.
To make this simple, please copy and paste the following in a new thread with the name of you RPG as the title. If you are interested in affiliating with our site, please fill out the form in the "Affiliate with Us" thread.

What we need is you to have one account to use as the attacker account, but change the character doing the attacking. For example, one account, but in your posts, you can be an renegade orc, a giant spider, a troll, a goblin, etc. Contact me by PM and we can work out more details. Thank you for your interest.

How to Name Your Elf (or other character) « Result #9 on Aug 9, 2006, 2:14pm »
To help those who plan on being an elf, I have discovered two helpful sites that will provide assistance in naming your character. To fully understand how this works, I will walk you through finding your character's name.
1. You must decided if you have a meaning you want to use, or if you have a name in English that you prefer. If you have a meaning that you'd like to use, go to www.babynames.com and search for "this meaning." We shall use "king" as our desired meaning.
The search engine responds with several selections, and I choose "Rex" as the name that I prefer to use.
Under the "R" names, I search and find "Rex" and discover that the Elven translation would be: REX (m.) - Latin 'king'; maybe *táru "king" (from tári "queen") for keeping similarity with REGINA (q.v.), thus Táru itself; or simply Aran. From the two choices provided, I decide that I prefer Aran. I now have a first name for my character.
3. Now it is time to give my character a last name. This is even simpler because I will use an Elven Name Generator to help me out. Go to www.chriswetherell.com/elf/ and under the "Male Name" fields, I enter "Richard" for the first name, and I decide I want his last name to mean something as well and choose "Stars" as the last name, so my character's name would roughly be translated to "King of the Stars" if I wanted to say that.
After clicking on the generate the name button, it comes back with a name. I discard the first name since it is nonsense and I have already chosen an exact translation. The last name however, is "Lossëhelin" and I find it agreeable enough to use it. If you do not like the last name generated, feel free to try many names until you get one you like.
4. After completing all of this, I now have my character's name, "Aran Lossëhelin." The next step would be to complete a new character creation form and then a biography. This process also works for female characters and is not limited to Elves.
Quentur Ciryatan « Result #10 on Aug 4, 2006, 4:57pm »
Full name: Quentur Ciryatan Aliases: Race: Elf Parents: Alyanorno (father) and Túrante (mother) Siblings: Elpinoine (sister) Spouse: None, currently Children: None, that he knows of Hair color: Blonde Eye color: Blue
History:
Quentur is the eldest child of Alyanorno, a king of one of the groups of Elves in the south. His father is a very strict ruler and an even stricter parent. Quentur grew up a dutiful son, but eventually realized that being immortal and possessing eternal youth, his father would never step aside and so Quentur questioned his purpose as "prince." For if he was to never lead, why should he stay?
When Jewellyn came to the neighboring kingdom and the stories of what was happening outside of their sheltered forests reached Quentur's ears, he immediately traveled to meet this young woman. Failing in an attempt to seduce her, Quentur became intrigued with the idea of seeing her "Middle Earth." When his father referred to him as a "second," Quentur had finally had enough and left for Middle Earth.
When he arrived in the newly formed Paria, he discovered that the land was still searching for an identity. Quentur hoped that he would be a part of it, and though he has left his life as a Prince behind him, it is power that now seems to be closer to his grasp than ever.
